Established in 2009, Deconstruction Management is the first dedicated, for-profit deconstruction management firm in the country.
Founded on the principles of the triple bottom line of social equity, environmental stewardship and economic prosperity, Deconstruction Management provides a full, turnkey operation for building removal, remediation, renovation and material reclamation.
Deconstruction Management is implementing the expansion of an alternative to traditional demolition – the deconstruction of buildings. Deconstruction is the practice of disassembling a building, specifically for component reuse, materials recycling and proper waste management. To date, components of this process are gaining traction, but the industry lacks coordination from property acquisition to demolition. Deconstruction Management seeks to coordinate and unify the efforts of those currently in the marketplace and future entrants.
