Deconstruction Management, Inc. is a consulting company that facilitates responsible building demolition and remediation by coordinating a wide array of participants within our network. 

Currently based in Northeast Ohio, we work with property owners through all stages of building removal from property acquisition to deconstruction to recycling and architectural reclamation.


 

The growing number of abandoned and foreclosed properties throughout the country has taken a significant toll on local economies, their residents and the environment. Property values in the hardest hit areas are at record lows. Vacant properties become breeding places for crime and have a negative impact on neighbors.
However, there is hope for our major urban areas and their surrounding communities.

Deconstruction Management, Inc. is proposing the expansion of an alternative to traditional demolition – the deconstruction of buildings.  Deconstruction is the practice of disassembling a building, specifically for component reuse, materials recycling and proper waste management. To date, components of this process are gaining traction, but the industry lacks coordination from property acquisition to demolition.  Deconstruction Management, Inc. seeks to coordinate and unify the efforts of those currently in the marketplace and future entrants. We will help companies and organizations develop and implement cost effective and responsible projects by offering consultation and supervisory services.
